Tsutomu (Tom) Sagara is the genius behind Boss Sushi’s mouth watering creations. He is the owner and head chef of the cozy, understated sushi hub in Beverly Hills. Tom is well known by his peers, patrons and employees for his subtle comedic personality, his bright yellow bleached hair, and his dedication to the art of sushi. Tom has been in the sushi business for over 35 years, and since he was a young chef of 16 in Osaka, Japan. He started out in Los Angeles at Asakuma on Wilshire, well known for its sushi, and later was co-owner of Kokyo. Tom’s big and welcoming personality makes boss sushi a friendly hangout, where you feel right at home and ready for a good time and a great meal.
